As with all other whitening systems it is strongly recommended to consult with a dentist before undergoing any treatment to determine that whitening is a procedure that will give you the results you want.

Crowns or dental fillings, plastic or porcelain can not be bleached.

You should bleach one jaw at a time. Bleaching process is gradual, and the unbleached jaw is a good basis for comparison.

If you have many black filling in your teeth, a very white color will emphasize them.

Considering that more and more dentists are warning against using amalgam in fillings, you can replace these with plastic or porcelain after bleaching.
